captured memories.

Old printed out photos fascinate me to no end. This photo is definitely one of my all-time favorite. That's my dad and I. I'm pretty sure I was mimicking my dad's pose. I edited the second photo to get rid of the purple tone which looks deeper in the scanned version, the old photos in my albums are mostly purple toned. /the power of photoshop.

I'm sadden by the fact that nowadays most of us do not printing out the photos we captured like how people used to years ago...the feeling you get when you are looking at those old, faded out photos is one of a kind.

May book haul

It was Labor Day and I went to do some shopping with my parents and sister who were here for the public holiday. There's a two-week break this month and I can't wait to go home! But at the mean time, I have to find myself some time to read the books I've brought along and the new books I've bought.

These are the three books I've bought. I didn't want to buy too many books that time because I was saving up the money to buy some school stuff. A new reference book for three semester each is a little bit too much but...we will see.
